Feast (or choke) on this, courtesy YouTube (and if you don't see a video here, get a better Flash plugin):Calling Mark Foster, calling Marc Foster... (I remember the making of this; some part of it was done with my Dad's Super 8, if I remember correctly). Copyright be dammed, I think YouTube would say (I thought this had been lost forever, but it's exactly as I remember it).

Hamish - is it really you. Garry Manley says its true. Long, long time my friend.

Hamish, you probably don't remember me (although I vaguely remember you). I used to hang around on the periphery of the Tactics circle in 83 - 85, mostly as a friend of Angus's (and of course a Tactics zealot as well - who could resist being drawn into that musical maelstrom).
I actually found this video myself a few hours before heading out to see the Tactics reunion gig in Sydney earlier this week. David, Ingrid (my partner these days) and Garry, plus a few hired hands played a superb set. Frozen Park was a particular highlight - sounded just as I remembered it.
I missed Angus though. We thought for a while he might come down to do the show, but he wasn't up to it sadly. Let's hope they do it again soon.
"Hamish"? Who's he?! :-). Mark -- yeah, it's me (you can tell it's me because I spelled "Mark" two different ways in five words...). Yes, long, long time (20 years?) -- get in touch! Garry has my email address...
tttallis (Thomas, I presume) -- yeah, I think we all miss Angus, dammit. Say hello at Ingrid, if she remembers who I am :-), and thanks for the mini-report from the Excelsior. Living ten thousand kilometres away in Sunny California makes reunion gigs difficult for me to attend, I guess.
