Pardon Me...

The UK Government pardons Alan Turing (someone, not surprisingly, who's something of a personal hero for me). A nice, long-overdue gesture. But, as with the Scottsboro Boys, the real issue here is whether Alan Turing can ever pardon the UK Government — or whether, indeed, we can ever do so either.
